Freeing the Marsupilami

That's a weird museum. The giant transparent tube looks more like a water tank filled with tropical plants. The parc is very busy, everybody's coming to see it. The people lying down in the grass around, enjoying the sun have already seen it. The others are standing up in a queue that comes down from the hill. It should take us hours except that we walk straight to the door and walk in VIP style. All the way I can't help but think that it shouldn't be there but in the wild where it belongs. I know the owner took it away from it's family and it makes me sad. But when I see it, sitting on a tree, looking down like a dead leaf waiting for the fall, my heart breaks. One look at my friends and he knows trouble is on its way. It's decided : I'm freeing it.
I leave my friend and open a "staff only" door. Immediately my vision becomes blurry. I can't see anything. I rub my eyes, try to open them wider but nothing works. A woman comes my way asking for my badge. I take out a cigarette and bring it to my mouth eyes half closed. She takes it I'm blinded and have lost my way. "This is a staff only area, the smoking room is upstairs. The lift is right behind...". She has no time to finish, my hand is on her mouth. "How do I get to it?" I ask her with a tone that assures her I'm not in the mood for jokes. I take her badge, walk backwards to the lift, open it and push her away closing the doors on her. I know she's going to alert security, I must hurry. I go to the floor above and to it's cage. I deactivate the window. The animal looks in my direction not recognising me he gets worried. "Don't worry, I won't hurt you. I want to take you home, to your family. Trust me". He looks at me as if believing in the eyes/soul theory and comes closer. I open my backpack. He understands and jumps in it. Wrapping its long black and yellow tail around itself.
I take a deep breath and walk toward the exit. My pace is normal, I don't want to look suspicious. I smile to the guard as I go through the exit door. I wait to be out of their sight before I start rushing to my flat. No running though. People would immediately know something is up if they saw me running around the city, so unusual...Once inside I open the bag, it jumps out and sit on top of my white bookshelf. Its big black eyes are wide open and bright with curiosity. It seems to be smiling down to me while checking the space around him with its incredibly long tail. I find some old clothes in a back pocket. I'm thinking "I really owe to check my bags more thoroughly" when I hear the door bell ring. I gesture to the animal to hide.
"Where is it?" "Where is what?" "Oh come on I know you, I'm sure you're the one who stole it!" "I don't steal animals" "You wouldn't think it's stealing but it is!" "Right I wouldn't because it wouldn't be" "Stop it with the word games" "I do enjoy them, don't you? ""Not this time, they're going crazy looking for it" "Then they should stop looking and live stress free" "You're driving me nuts, where is it?" "God knows, why don't you go to a Church and ask him, I'll talk to you later" "Young lady you're in trouble" "Aren't we all my old friend?, aren't we all?"
I close the door and wake up, never knowing if I have managed to bring the Marsupilami home.
